The student will gain the foundational literacy skills needed to improve their reading proficiency and have confidence in themselves.

I was a Coordinator for a literacy nonprofit for 4 years. During that time I assessed and tutored students in grades K-4.
This position included many hours of training and professional development in areas such as: assessment, intervention, teaching, tutoring, data analysis, lesson planning, and other essential tools.

Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned depending on the needs of the student and at the request of the parent/guardian.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Initial reading skills assessment is given. 
Sight word count and fluency tracker, as well as informal assessments as needed.
