In this one-time private tutoring class, we will work on specific reading skills and strategies your child needs to become a confident reader. I am a certified Reading Interventionist in a public school and have taught all ages for over 20 years. I am trained in Wilson Reading techniques and I have a Master's degree in literacy. My goal is to help struggling or beginning readers learn and love to read through hands on activities and games. The lesson will be individualized depending on need...
Students will improve reading skills and strategies to enable them to be confident readers. Before I start working with your child, we will connect to discuss their current ability and level so I can design a custom lesson plan to meet their individual needs.
Learner will need a white board and dry erase marker or paper and pencil.
