Description
Class Experience
This class will cover decoding/phonics skills and/or reading comprehension skills based on the student's individual needs. We will read a short story together and discuss the characters and events. Then, the student will engage in phonics instruction as needed as well as reading comprehension skills. Optional activities that may be included based on learner needs include: sight words and phonics instruction, 1 reading strategy skill per session, or a combination of phonics and comprehension....
Student will learn specific reading skills tailored to his/her needs in order to improve overall reading abilities.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
