Mastery Evaluation
1-2 hours per week. Students will be asked to practice piano throughout the week. Times will vary depending on the student's age and skill level.Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - 8
Beginner Level
In these one-on-one piano lessons, students will learn a variety of topics based on their skills and interests such as note reading, music theory, scales, sight reading, music composition, and more! The lessons include warm-ups, technical studies, performance songs and games. I use a student-centered teaching approach that focuses on the student's interests and passions to inspire them toward excellence.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to explain and execute music theory skills appropriate to their skill level.Students will be able to play with appropriate technique and sound quality.Other Details
Supply List
Students will need a piano or keyboard with at least 61 keys (88 key keyboard preferred) and purchase their method book for lessons.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

In our lessons, you can expect to learn the basics of the piano using the Faber Piano Adventures method books.
