Class Experience
Private piano lessons will be taught by an experienced piano teacher. Play piano in this super engaging way with playing piano and singing and moving and the trusty flashcards are always so much fun. You hardly feel you are learning as this class is so much fun and engaging for the learner. Music skills will be taught simultaneously with listening skills. This is a one on one class. The student will need either an acoustic piano or a good keyboard. This class will be an age appropriate...
Some of the goals of what the student will learn are listed above. Learner will have a good foundation of piano basics and also music fundamentals.
The instructor is a highly skilled musician and a piano major. The instructor has a heart of gold and big doses of caring and understanding. If you are considering your child for this class and they are not 4 years old please wait until they are 4 years old. No children under the age of 4 will be considered for classes.
Homework appropriate to each lesson will be assigned. The student will need to practice 15-20 minutes each day in the beginning reviewing at home what was taught in the lessons. the student will need 4 books that go along with the series. I will provide the links to purchase the books. The option to purchase Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse will be given too but not a requirement.
The students will need to book series: Music For Little Mozarts. I will provide specific links when you sign up for the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Student will be assessed each week according to their abilities and the skills they know through practice at home.
30 minutes per class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
