This course will meet for 4 weeks. We will use the Faber My First Piano Adventure Series to learn piano basics like hand position, finger numbers, and note names and values. In the first class, we will begin by looking through the books at all of the things we are going to learn and talk about how to practice. Then we will learn finger numbers and the parts of the piano. In the following lessons, we will continue to move through the books at the student's pace. This class is for beginners with no piano experience. Students do not need to know how to read as this is a pre-reading series but students that do know how to read can also take the class. I encourage students to ask questions throughout class. Students need to have My First Piano Adventure Lesson book A and Writing book A prior to the start of the first class.
