This class will help the beginner student start their journey of learning to play the piano. Each class will cover Technique Routines, Lesson Books, Sightreading Books, and Theory. We will also cover Aural Perception (Ear Training), Performance Skills, Composition, and Music History.

Mrs. Brooke received a full ride scholarship and studied Piano and Voice Performance at Arizona Christian University. She’s been teaching piano for over 17years and specializes in making the classes fun and creating well rounded learners by incorporating all aspects of music into her lessons. She was an accompanist for several years in college and a piano conductor for the EVMTA Ensemble for 5 years. Mrs. Brooke also has an extensive performance background performing the lead and featured rolls in plays throughout high school and college, and touring China with her band. She is currently teaching private in person lessons to her 21 students, but she’s very excited to be offering them here on Outshool as well. 

Homework Offered
Students are encouraged to practice their technique routines and pieces at least twice a day. Some weeks there may be a theory assignment to complete as well. Your teacher will post the assignments each week in class.
