Homework Offered
Students are expected to practice outside of class. I will usually ask the child to play the song we are working on a certain amount of times per day as practice. We will also occasionally complete music theory assignments outside of class as homework.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

3 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need to purchase their own materials for this course. Students will need a piano or full sized keyboard for the class. One book is required for the class. These materials will be needed from week to week. We will be using the Bastien New Traditions All-In-One Course for this class. These books also include access to the Kjos Interactive Piano Studio. The cost of the book is about $10. If your student has no prior piano experience, you will purchase Level Primer A or Level Primer B, depending on the age of the student. The teacher will direct you to which book would be best. If your student has some piano experience, please consult with the teacher about which level of book to purchase.
