It is important to see learners' faces and hands during lessons. Have learners sitting at their piano/keyboard and have your device able to capture them from the head to their lower ribcage. I will be able to offer learners feedback on the use of their hands/fingers this way during the lesson. (Example Picture is provided in the Outschool Classroom once enrolled) I would highly discourage using a Phone or other small devices for this class. The larger the screen, the better experience your learner will have.
Lessons will be taught using the Alfred's Basic Piano Library Method Books. After our first lesson together, I will determine what Level will be appropriate for your learner and send you links to purchase those from Amazon. When appropriate, learners will be given the opportunity to select some fun, "interest" songs to incorporate in our lessons as well. Songs such as an piece for an upcoming Holiday, Disney, Broadway, Pop, etc.
