I recommend about 20 - 60 minutes per week of individual piano practice time, possibly more depending on the child's age. I will listen to students play their practice piece from the week, and offer feedback.Assessment

US Grade 1 - 4
Beginner Level
Students will learn the basics of the piano. They will learn about the black vs. the white keys, high sounds and low sounds on the keyboard, the finger number system, the basics of composing their own song, how to play simple songs on the piano, as well as how to read music. This class is structured with a few minutes of student teacher repore and relationship building, followed by warm ups/technique building, and then into music theory/reading piano music. Depending on the lesson, there are games that are paired with note naming and reading. I will teach the students with a keyboard that they can see in my screen with my hands playing along. My teaching style is to be encouraging, fun, while still making sure the content is taught with excellence.
