Teacher expertise and credentials
I teach a broad range of subjects, focusing on my passions of music and art.
I have always enjoyed children, starting with my own four who I home schooled and extending to all my private and public school students. I have taught in one way or another for decades, and am currently on leave from an 8 year career of teaching public school general music.
I believe all students can learn, and that teachers should start where the child is. I do believe a child and his or her parents have a responsibility to apply the instructions given by the teacher, but that the teacher should adjust her approach to teaching based on the student's responses and interests.
Please feel free to message me with questions, class and time requests.
I have two dogs and live in my art studio. I collect tea cups and tea pots!
