Hello! My name is Ms. Courtney. Welcome to my class! This one-time private class is designed for students who can recognize letters, but need additional practice with saying and memorizing letter sounds. I will be using a PowerPoint presentation to teach this lesson. Students will practice identifying each letter and saying their sounds. Then, students will read individual words containing the letter sounds such as "apple" for letter A. Next, students will read sentences containing words with...

This class is taught in English.

Students will be able to identify letters and memorize their sounds. Students will be able to read sentences with fluency and accuracy. Students will be able to differentiate short and long vowel sounds.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
