This private coaching session is designed for all experience levels, offering personalized guidance in monologue work, audition prep, character development, and foundational acting skills. Together, we’ll create a fun, supportive environment where students can take creative risks and develop the tools they need to shine. Class Experience What Will Be Taught? Every coaching session is customized to the student’s needs and can focus on: Audition preparation for plays, musicals, and college programs Monologue coaching (selection, delivery, and emotional depth) Scene work and character development Vocal projection, diction, and articulation Movement, body language, and stage presence Confidence-building techniques for performers Cold reading skills for auditions Improvisation and thinking on your feet How Is the Class Structured? How Will You Teach? My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and adaptable to each student’s unique learning process. Coaching sessions will include: Live performance practice with constructive, encouraging feedback Interactive discussion to explore character choices and acting techniques Guided exercises to strengthen voice, movement, and emotional connection Audition strategies for both in-person and virtual auditions I encourage students to take creative risks, experiment with new techniques, and step outside their comfort zones in a safe, judgment-free environment. How Much Will Learners Get to Interact? Because this is a private session, learners will receive my full attention throughout. They’ll be actively performing, discussing their pieces, and receiving real-time feedback to help them grow as actors. Teacher expertise and credentials
California Teaching Certificate in English/Language Arts
I have been acting since the age of seven, and from the moment I stepped on stage, I knew this art form was something special. I fell in love with both plays and musicals, embracing every opportunity to perform, learn, and grow. That passion led me to pursue a career in theatre education so I could pass on the joy of acting to the next generation.
I earned my Master’s in Theatre Education from NYU and have over 10 years of experience teaching acting to students of all ages and experience levels. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including schools, theatre programs, and private coaching, helping students build confidence, refine their skills, and prepare for performances and auditions. I have directed full productions, coached small groups, and worked one-on-one with students to bring out their best performances.
Whether I’m guiding a beginner through their first monologue or helping an advanced student prepare for a college audition, I love creating a supportive environment where actors can take risks, discover new techniques, and grow as performers. My goal is to help each student find their unique voice, develop strong acting fundamentals, and gain the confidence to shine on stage and beyond.
