For younger learners (such as kindergarten students), I assess their phonological awareness, alphabet recognition, and sound naming. For older students, I consider their reading background to ensure the lessons are just right for them.

Note: Students will begin with foundational letters like C, O, A, and D, and activities will build as their skills grow.
