**Contact me to schedule a lesson time! Prerequisite: 🎶No Prerequisite - Come at your own level! These are one on one private lessons offered to students at all levels from beginner to advanced. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns! Listed below are some of the objectives we will cover in our lessons together! Violin Lessons: ♪ Tuning ♪ Instrument Parts and Anatomy ♪ String names ♪ Reading and playing notes on the musical staff ♪ Reading and playing sheet music ♪ Many Scales and Arpeggio Warm Ups ♪ Ear Training ♪ Songs ♪ ...and more! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TEACHER CANCELLATION POLICIES: Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you. Canceled lessons will not be refunded for any reason other than emergencies, sickness, or death. Time for make-up lessons is limited, and make-ups for missed lessons cannot be guaranteed. This policy is out of consideration to the studio as a whole. Make-up lessons will be scheduled during regular teaching hours as openings become available. Please notify me of absences as far in advance as possible; this will help you and others receive a make-up lesson. Lessons missed without prior notice will not be made up. Scheduled make-up lessons will not be rescheduled for any reason (i.e. no make-ups for make-up lessons). **If you are taking an ongoing course and unsubscribe, that lesson slot will be made available to other students and is not guaranteed to stay open. STUDENT LATE ARRIVAL: I will wait up to 10 minutes for a student to arrive if they are tardy. TEACHER CANCELLATION: Lessons that I cancel for any reason will be rescheduled or refunded.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the skills required to play the violin. Each week, students will learn new songs and techniques to practice and perfect. I offer practical advice and tips to further students' progress with the violin and achieve their violin goals.

Learning should be both valuable and engaging, which I strive to offer in all of my classes. I also believe music is the ultimate expression of emotions and human connection, which is why I love to bring music to the Outschool classroom.
*My style for teaching is "out of the box" to instill a passion for lifelong learning.*
Philosophy:
It is important to me to offer a comfortable learning environment where students will feel free to express themselves and grow. Students will enjoy interacting with me and their peers with games that allow them to connect with others and express themselves, including their own interests and passions.
Qualifications:
- Experienced K-12 Music Teacher
- Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Education (Violin and Vocal Performance)
- 3 Years Experience General Music and Choir Teacher for Elementary, Middle and High School
- 10+ Years Experience Teaching Private Violin Lessons
- Lifetime Experience Studying and Performing Music
*My students have gone on to play in school orchestras, perform auditioned solos in choir, perform confidently in talent shows, and audition for various musicals. The students are who make it possible, I just guide them to be their greatest!
