This class is a one on one tutoring session for learning about writing an essay, including prewriting, thesis development, and editing. #confidence
Class experience
During the one on one session, the student will learn about prewriting, including different forms of brainstorming, outlining, and planning. We will discuss thesis statements, including what makes a strong thesis. Finally, we will explore writing and editing. The student will leave the tutoring session with tools (both mental and available to print) that will be valuable aids in the their future writing endeavors.
