Through piano lessons, students explore a wide variety of musical styles and sounds, and learn how to express and interpret emotions. It's easy to learn when you are having fun! That's why we teach the fundamentals of music through the songs that students love. Some of the concepts we will learn are: Proper playing and singing posture How to hold, tune, and take care of our instruments How to read rhythms and notes on a musical staff How to sight-read music and rhythm notation How to play and sing familiar songs to warm up the hands and/or voice How to play major scales and arpeggios How to read chord charts and lyric sheets How to play your favorite songs and have fun!
Learning Goals
Students will become comfortable or advance their current piano, music theory, and performance skills under the guidance of a highly qualified piano teacher.
We believe in creating well-rounded musicians that are confident and comfortable in their playing abilities.
