This is a one-on-one opportunity to learn and practise French pronunciation, grammar, listening skills and speaking skills, for personal goals, with a more academic focus, or just to learn about the French language.

Class Experience

  • Learners will develop their confidence in the language across all areas of language instruction, as relevant to their needs; including reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation.
Ms. Shiren is a fluent French speaker, having lived and worked in France and French West Africa, and studied the French province of Quebec, in her native Canada. As a Canadian, Ms. Shiren learned French from elementary school through to the end of high school, and in her case, also at the University of Toronto, as French is Canada's second official language.

She continues to work, teach and socialize in French in her daily life.
