Assessment
Informal assessment will be conducted at the beginning of class to determine a student's level and needs, and then throughout the class to ensure learning objectives and goals are being met.Class Experience
This one-time class will allow students to focus on areas they need extra support in to improve their grades in class, or help them to improve their pronunciation, speaking, listening and reading ability in French, or to just have fun with the language! Lessons are built around student need based on the teacher's assessment of their current language ability and needs. The teacher will provide materials for use in class, but students are welcome to bring their own as well. Individual times can be arranged, so please feel free to message me to discuss additional time options. Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from University of Toronto
Ms. Shiren is a fluent French speaker, having lived and worked in France and French West Africa, and studied in the French province of Quebec in her native Canada. As a Canadian, Ms. Shiren learned French from elementary school through to the end of high school, and in her case, also at the University of Toronto, as French is Canada's second official language.
