Learners will come away from the class with useful acting tools and tips that will help future performances. They will have a better understanding of what it is to be an actor and what actors do to prepare for their roles. Learners will find their unique voice as actors through specific work on monologues, scenes, and/or audition preparation work - and have fun along the way!

I have been a professional actor for over thirteen years and have experience in many areas of the profession, including theatre, film, television, and commercial work. I was fortunate enough to have great teachers throughout my training and would love to pass on the knowledge I've obtained to future actors. I have experience coaching students of all ages in ways to better improve their performances. I received my Bachelor Degree in Theatre and my Master of Fine Arts Degree in Performing Arts. 

Homework Offered
Learners are asked, if possible, to provide monologues or scenes that they would like to work on together. If needed, I can make suggestions for material. Learners are also asked to memorize their monologues or lines, which assists greatly with the learning process for actors.
