Class Experience
Thank you for choosing me as your music teacher! I consider it a great privilege to be entrusted with sharing the gift of music with your child and I look forward to helping them on their own musical journey. For most families, I am the only other adult who spends regularly scheduled time alone with your child. Students will improve upon their understanding of music theory and their instrument(s). They will demonstrate technique and perform musical pieces.
I expect my students to devote 30-45 minutes each week in addition to our lessons together, practicing exercises/drills from their past lessons.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment. Performance based assessment.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
