The student will be provided with experiences that build their understanding of specific math skills and will receive assistance with the concepts that are challenging them in their homework and schoolwork.

I have taught and tutored mathematics to 3rd - 8th graders for 25 years - including my own 3 children:-). I have my Masters Degree in Education and my 7th - 9th grade math certification. I coached middle school robotics teams for 20 years, have taught college-level education classes, and I served as a consultant to Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy writing math & science robotics curriculum. 

Homework Offered
Homework can be provided at the parent's request. 
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Your child will be informally assessed on the problems they solve in class and through discussion. I will also send a brief narrative after each session with the skills/concepts covered that day.
