During this private math tutoring session, students will engage in fun, interactive lessons that meet them at their individual level. We will work on skills being taught in their classrooms and assess where breakdowns may be occurring. I specialize in helping students develop strong math skills by using a specific teaching model that focuses on first building a concrete understanding of math concepts before transitioning to abstract. These tutoring sessions are great for students in homeschool as well! 

I am a certified teacher with a Master's degree in education, and I am committed to helping students bridge gaps and become successful in Math. My teaching style incorporates hands-on learning, interactive games/activities, and open communication. I create a welcoming environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, effort is celebrated, and mistakes are simply a part of learning. 

I ask that parents please send me a message at least 24 hours prior to our first session regarding math skills and topics their learner is struggling with so that I may create a custom learning plan for our time together.
