Homework
1 hour per week. A few practice questions will be assigned just to help the student have some more outside practice. The parent may check this to make sure answers are correct.Assessment
Informal assessment. We will do activities and review during class. I will check their answers to see how they are progressing.Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 10
This class will be available for math tutoring for ages 7-12. Students will need a pencil and a spiral notebook or notebook paper. We will do review games and practice questions during the lesson. Students will participate in these activities along with independent work as I ask them questions. Students will be able to ask questions about problems they’re struggling with and we will go over it. (Please let me know before class what your student needs help with) I will be able to help your student with topics such as - Addition, subtraction, multiplication or division - Order of Operations - Borrowing/Carrying - Fractions - Decimals - Percentages - Word Problems -Graphs If the student has outside math homework that they need help with, I will be available to help them with that during the lesson as well! Please let me know before class what your student needs help with!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about basic math principles.
Students will be able to understand their level of math better.

Students will need a spiral notebook/notebook paper, pencil and great eraser.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
