I am a certified math teacher with two decades of experience tutoring math privately and in small groups. I will go at your learner's pace and use a variety of teaching methods and mnemonics to make math fun and easy to learn. I encourage a deeper understanding of math concepts to improve confidence and retention. 

I can help your learner with concepts and materials he/she brings to class. Or, if you tell me ahead of time what you want us to cover, I can provide material as well. 

If you can tell me some of your learner’s math background before class, it will help make the session more effective. What grade is he/she in? What concepts of math is he/she very good at or like? What concepts of math does he/she need to work on or dislike? What is your main goal for this session? (Homework help, classwork help, review, school prep, etc…)

I am passionate about math. I know a lot of tricks and mnemonics to make math fun and easier to understand. I especially love helping struggling students achieve success. I have been a math teacher and tutor in public school and online since 2010. 

I am passionate about creative writing. There are so many ways to express what is in your heart through words, and I would love to help you find that passion as well. I have two years of classroom experience teaching English and writing in public school. I also have had twenty-five books published. Many of them have been translated and narrated. Let me help you bring out your creativity in a way that will astound your audience. 

I am also passionate about science and nature. From the expanse of outer space to the deepest depths of the ocean, from the first organisms to grace our planet to the future of technology, let’s explore the universe’s many incredible wonders. I have two years of classroom experience teaching science and robotics in public school.
