Class Experience

Here is a list of 1st grade common core standards we can cover. I can cover 1 topic in one 30 min session. 

1.OA.1- Students will use subtraction and addition within 20 to solve word problems. 
1.OA.2 -Students will solve word problems that call for the addition of 3 numbers within 20. 

1.OA.3- Students will apply properties of operation as strategies to add and subtract. 
1.OA.4- Students will understand subtraction as an unknown addend problem.

1.OA.5- Students will relate counting to addition and subtraction.
1.OA.6- Students will add and subtract within 20 using multiple strategies. 

1.OA.7- Students will understand the meaning of the equal sign and determine if equations are true or false. 
1.OA.8- Students will determine an unknown number in an + or - equation relating 3 numbers.

1.NBT.1- Students will count to 120 and read and write numbers to 120. 
1.NBT.2- Students will understand tens and ones in a a 2- digit number.

1.NBT.3- Students will compare 2- digit numbers using <, > and =.
1.NBT.4- Students will add within 100 using models drawings. 

1.NBT.5- Students will mentally find 10 more and 10 less to a 2-digit number. 
1.NBT.6- Students will subtract multiples of 10 up to 90. 

1.G.3- Students will identify 1/2 and 1/4 of circles and squares. 
1.MD.1- Students will order and compare the length of 3 objects.
We will complete our worksheets in the session.
Please have your learner prepared with the worksheet provided for each session as well as a pencil to write with.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
