Private Math Tutor - 6th Grade & Under (30 minute)

Welcome to my math tutoring course!

These one-on-one sessions are designed to help students build a strong understanding of math concepts and excel in their studies. Each weekly lesson is tailored to their individual needs, focusing on the topics they're working on in school and making learning both effective and engaging.

I encourage my students to send their homework and any class materials prior to our lessons. This will allow me to prepare a lesson based on the specific topics the student is covering in school and ensure that they have a strong grasp on various math concepts. During these lessons, we will walk through each topic the student may need help with at their individual pace and allow them to ask questions along the way until they feel comfortable working through the math problems on their own. 

Some specific math topics I am proficient in teaching for the indicated age range include, but are not limited to: fractions and decimals, ratios and proportions, percents, solving equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations, geometry concepts such as area and perimeter, and analyzing statistics. 

I am very passionate about teaching children to not only understand math, but make the learning process fun and enjoyable for them as well. I am looking forward to helping your child succeed in their classes and feel motivated to continue expanding their math skills.
