Class Experience

In this ongoing class, we will discuss events from history, whilst also examining their implications. This course is designed to ensure that each learner has unlimited opportunities to analyze and understand the events and topics we discuss. Furthermore, the course has been created to provide learners with the opportunity to critically think about the matters at hand. Each lesson will be very interactive! We will use a variety of different mediums to learn the subject matter. I believe learning occurs in engaging, authentic and meaningful settings. We are all catalysts for change in our world!
Learning Goals
In this ongoing class, you will have the opportunity to research and study important historical events, whilst also diving deep into politics, government systems and the importance of civic action.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I studied history, politics and government systems for over 6 years in University. I had the pleasure of working as a Research Assistant for two professors. In my roles, I compiled data in English, French and Greek. My main areas of focus were the Greek Civil War, WWII and Cold War Politics. Furthermore, I have experience teaching history and politics in both Canada the United Kingdom (both GCSE and A-Level).
