Description
Class Experience
My background is in Latin and Greek, and in the histories of the ancient Romans and Greeks. My approach to learning Latin and Greek roots is, therefore, unique in its emphasis on the origin language as well as the vocabulary building in English.
pen/pencil and paper are recommended for note-taking!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The root -cide means killing of; because of its frequency in the English language and its connection to so many other roots (homicide, patricide, regicide, pesticide) we do discuss this root in class. If you prefer your learner not to discuss this root for any reason, please let me know in advance and I will avoid it.
