This is a class for students who are just picking up the guitar for the first time or have some experience but are unsure of how to practice or learn the songs they want. I am happy to work with students of all ages and abilities!

Class Experience
In this class, students will learn how to tune their guitar, learn basic chords, as well as learn fun songs. I teach in a way that is customized to each student. Lessons should be enjoyable for the student and I strive to find the ideal way for each student to learn the guitar. Learners will be able to choose songs they eventually want to learn and I strive to help them learn the music they enjoy.
Learning Goals
Students will learn a basic understanding of how to play chords or playing melodies on individual strings. They will be able to keep rhythm and play along with music.

I teach electric bass, string bass, guitar and piano. I have a Bachelors degree in music and have been playing live music for the past 10 years with multiple bands. I currently play electric bass in a rock band named Hydro Taxi and we play original songs to live crowds. I also play string bass in a jazz quartet.
