Private guitar lessons for beginner to intermediate players. Students will learn chords, rhythms, tabs and fingerpicking used across genres in music today. Students will learn chords using a combination of tabs and demonstration. Students are welcome to suggest songs they would like to learn, or just work on material I suggest. Beginners will learn popular chords and basic rhythms so they can start their guitar journey and begin to play songs. Intermediate students can expand their knowledge...
Students should try to practice at least 15 minutes a day for at least 4 days a week. Students can practice the material learned in class using techniques, tabs and chords charts used in their lessons.
Students will need a tuner, if you don't have one you can download a guitar tuner app on your phone. Students will also need a pick.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
