This course is an ongoing, one on one private guitar lesson. Students will study reading music notation, tablature, scales and chords.
Class experience
In one on one private lesson students will learn how to play the guitar by reading music. Students will also study music theory and implement aspects of theory into their performance skill and knowledge. Students will play simple melodies, begin learning how to play chords and scales, plus be given the opportunity to play songs of their choice. Students will learn how to play melodies, play chords and read music.
I have been teaching music privately since high school, moved on to teaching in the classroom K-College, I love bringing music to children and families.
Homework Offered
In this 40-minute private lesson, students will on average be give a minimum of 3 different disciplines weekly to work on.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Each week I will listen to the progression of the student and through verbal communication gauge where the student is with their musical growth.Grades Offered
