Class Experience

This class is designed to work with siblings or close friends with the same general levels of ability and motivation. It can be customized for instructions and scheduling, especially when you self-select the groups.

This tutoring session would be most beneficial for the learners that has had Gujarati/Hindi before and knows some basics. Through lectures (google slides), conversation, games and even some fun music videos or commercials-learners will get that extra help they need to be more fluent and feel more confident in any of the language.

Sessions will last 30 minutes for group less than 5 and be divided into three sections. Sessions will last longer for 5 or more learners in group.

First section will be vocabulary. They will learn new vocabulary words and will be encouraged to spell and repeat them, focusing on pronunciation and repetition.

The second section will be introducing verbs. I will introduce 3-5 new verbs which we will practice conjugating. And then they will learn the grammar rule on how to use it in a sentence.

The last section will focus on conversation. Student(s) will talk to me or translate the sentences or make their own sentences applying previously learned material for basic conversation. I will help them as necessary to build and speak their sentences with correct pronunciation and grammar.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Associate's Degree in Engineering (General) from THE INSTITUTION OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERS (IETE)
With a degree in Computer Engineering, I have been teaching Math and Computer Science for more than 15 years. I have also coached First Lego League team of 10 students and helped the team reach regional championships.

I believe in project based learning as it requires a thorough understanding of concept, and not just recall or recognition. It can be used to apply an academic content in new contexts. And, it starts with an inquiry, which leads to a deeper learning of not only an academic content but also use of it in a real world applications.
