New to Outschool? Use referral code JordanB2020 to get $20 in Outschool credits! Do you have a student who needs to practice their language and communication skills in French? I'd love to work with them and help them reach their goals! My teaching style is based on the student's specific needs and wishes, and I teach all levels. IMPORTANT NOTE: when you enroll, you will get a message with a few questions regarding your student’s French skills. You must answer these questions in order for us to have our lesson. I have helped students learn to read in French, helped students with homework or studying topics they learned in another class, improving vocabulary knowledge and conversational skills, and more! Because this is a learner-oriented class, I ask that parents message me about their child's needs after signing up. I can make a plan with you for however many weeks you'd like to take class. I can't wait to meet your student! Some of the topics I can teach are: -French immersion -Conversation skills -Pronunciation -Vocabulary -Reading/Phonics -Writing/Grammar -Listening skills

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a B2 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French through Outschool for 1 year.
I took the French CLEP test a few years ago and got maybe 5 points away from a perfect score while testing out of and getting credit for all the French classes at my local community college.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education.
I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
