Class Experience
In these private lessons, students will engage in activities personally designed for their level of French. Activities will include building a bank of vocabulary, practicing simple question and answer role plays and then leading onto more natural and fluid conversations in French once the student progresses. We will have time to do fun activities like play games and do projects in and out of class. The personalized curriculum will be based on the common framework or DELF and focus on talking and listening skills as well as reading and writing. An example curriculum plan might look like this: Week of 6th September: Topic 1 Introduce new vocabulary and play a game to reinforce the learning Week of 13th September: Topic 2 Read some authentic French material and introduce questions, answer questions based on the reading material Week of 21st Sept: Topic 3 Review the topic vocabulary and do some simple talking role plays, begin a project to be completed between classes Week of 28th Sept: Topic 4 Review progress on project and continue to practice key sentences learned, add new vocabulary and phrases naturally through conversation

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French Teaching from the University of Utah. She also lived in three French-speaking countries for a year and a half (France, Switzerland, Luxembourg).
