Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learning goals will be based on the student's individual needs.
I have a BA in English, an MA in Professional Writing, and nearly two decades of experience as a writer, editor, and publisher working within multiple genres that include fiction, nonfiction, magazine, roleplaying games, and other technical writing. I provide professional manuscript preparation for writers seeking agents or publishers, or for those planning to self-publish. I have been teaching writing to middle and high school students in person and online for ten years. I am experienced working with nuerodiverse learners, students with learning challenges such as dyslexia and ADHD, and new and reluctant writers.
Students with longer projects should expect to spend time between classes working on these projects.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
