This class is taught in English.
The main goal of these lessons is to give the student some conversational practice, during which some new words and structures will be identified and practiced during class. Students will be sent the list of new words or grammar points that were identified during the lesson.
I have four years of experience teaching English as a second language as well as a TESOL certificate through which I was able to further my understanding of how children learn best.
Students are encouraged to continue practicing the new material at least a little bit each day to help retain the knowledge learned (a small amount of practice each day is much better in helping retain knowledge than a bigger review of the material the day before the next lesson)
No other materials are required but a toy doll or animal can be very useful during class in getting students to relate the new material to their toy.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
