In this five week multi day course, students will be provided engaging, one-on-one English lessons. The first class will be an assessment, which I will properly place the student at an appropriate level. Then, we will discuss what topics they would be interested in learning and how I can tailor given lessons to their needs/level. Lessons will be conducted via Zoom and interactive, Powerpoint style classes will be used. Lots of colorful images, songs and props will be utilized to make the lessons (not only) informative but fun.  

Detailed Lesson Plan: 
Week one- I will meet your student and we will practice general greetings/introductions. The lesson will consist of general topics and will be designed to help appropriately place your learner at a particular level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). To note, before the first class I will message you to see how much English experience your child has (for example: do they know their ABCS? Colors? etc.). 

Week two- One complete lesson with a focus on reading, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills. 

Week three- One complete lesson with a focus on reading, vocabulary, writing, speaking, and listening skills. 

Week four- One complete lesson with a focus on reading, vocabulary, writing, speaking, and listening skills. 

Week five- One complete lesson with a focus on reading, vocabulary, writing, speaking, and listening skills.  A certificate will be provided after the class to show kid's achievement and completion of class.

After the five week course, parents are welcome to message me about booking more classes. The course will be designed as an ongoing class and is beneficial to students who want to continue taking more lessons. 

Teaching Method: 
I use the TPR method (total physical response) to teach my students. By doing so, I use lots of props and hand motions to help students understand vocabulary that they may not be familiar with.

Expertise:  
I have lots of experience teaching international students (Chinese, Russian, Korean) and have been doing so for the past six years. The companies I have worked for include: Qkids and Bilingval. I also hold a 120 hour TESOL certification.
