Is your student interested in science and learning English as a second language? In this ongoing class, students will be provided engaging, one-on-one English lessons that are based around a fun science curriculum. The first class will be an assessment, which I will properly place the student at an appropriate level. Then, we will begin discussing different science related topics (based around chemistry) and how I can tailor these given lessons to their needs/level. Lessons will be conducted via Zoom and interactive, google slides style classes will be used. Lots of colorful images and some videos will be utilized to make the lessons (not only) informative but fun. 

Some topics included are:
Famous scientists, learning about the periodic table, chemistry experiments, the solar system etc.

Teaching Method: 
My approach with young learners is very patient and kind. I emphasize positive reinforcement as much as possible and let the students know that their hard work is paying off.  Throughout the class, students receive lots of praise—words like "Good work! You're doing great! Excellent job!"—to keep them motivated and confident in their progress. 

Expertise:  
I have lots of experience teaching international students (Chinese, Russian, Korean) and have been doing so for the past six years. I've taught students between the age ranges of 3-13 in the past. ESL companies I have worked for include: Qkids and Bilingval. I also hold a 120 hour TESOL certification.
