Beginner - Advanced Level
This one-on-one private drawing tutoring session is designed to meet each learner exactly where they are. No previous drawing experience is necessary. Whether your child is just beginning to explore drawing or is an experienced young artist looking to sharpen specific techniques, this class offers a nurturing, encouraging space to grow. We begin with a quick conversation to understand the learner’s interests, goals, and current skill level. From there, we explore a variety of age-appropriate exercises—ranging from observational drawing to imaginative illustration—based on what excites and challenges them. Instruction is playful, adaptive, and always student-centered. Skills we may focus on include: Drawing what you see (observation) Shading and light Proportion and perspective Line quality and mark-making Texture and form Drawing from the imagination Experimentation Each session is unique and responsive to the learner. As we progress, I will offer gentle guidance on how to take risks, refine technique, and build creative confidence. Whether your child wants to draw animals, characters, plants, portraits, or entirely made-up worlds—this is a safe and fun space to develop their visual voice.
