Personalized instruction in drawing using a variety of drawing materials and subjects. Student may choose subject matter. This session is perfect for focusing on specific skills and sketching.

US Grade 1 - 9
Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a one-one-one private drawing session. It is an ongoing class which means you can scheduer as many sessions as you would like. This class is designed to be a place of support and individualized instruction for learners who like to draw. Students may choose which drawing materials they would like to work with, such as graphite pencils, oil pastels, ink, charcoal and markers. The student may also choose what subject to draw. The learner will make at least one sketch working from a photo reference. The learner will use at least one of the following drawing techniques: sketching with shapes, contour line drawing, shading, adding texture.

In this 1:1 session the instructor will ask questions and check-in with the learner at least 3 times. Sharing work is not required, but encouraged!Grades Offered
Drawing can support students with Dyslexia in that it encourages students to develop spatial thinking and fine motor skills. Additionally, drawing can be a calming activity which for may be benefical for some students with ADHD.
