Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 9
Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a one-one-one private drawing session. It is an ongoing class which means you can scheduer as many sessions as you would like.

This class is designed to be a place of support and individualized instruction for learners who like to draw. Students may choose which drawing materials they would like to work with, such as graphite pencils, oil pastels, ink, charcoal and markers. The student may also choose what subject to draw. This 30 minute session is perfect for those who like to sketch or may want to focus on a particular skill or medium. It is also a great way for ESL students to practice vocabulary and to discuss topics we are drawing about.

In drawing, I teach foundational skills and the elements and principles of art (shape, line, color, texture, perspective, volume, etc). Having a foundation of skills and knowledge helps us to better express our ideas and emotions through drawing.
