Class Experience
In this 30-minute Private Dance Lesson, the student will work through a warm-up, stretch, and different technique exercises and progression. The Dancer/Cheerleading picks one of the following styles: -Cheerleading (any level) -Ballet -Jazz -Hiphop -Contemporary/Lyrical Mrs. Danielle will create the private lesson off the experience level, age, and style request of the dancer! **After enrolling, please send Mrs. Danielle a message of the desired style the learner wishes to learn, reason for lesson, as well as prior knowledge of style, so the educator can plan accordingly!** Mrs. Danielle will provide feedback throughout the duration of the class. This class is open to all ages and experience levels. This class is great for students interested in a certain style, learners who are beginners and just getting started, dancers wanting to improve their technique, or for those trying out for school or gym/studio teams!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Due to the physical fitness of cheerleading and dance, please have water easily accessible so your learner can stay hydrated. I will provide 1-2 water breaks as needed.
Dancers: please wear slip-proof socks, appropriate dance shoes (if available) and bare feet
Cheerleaders: please wear tennis shoes
If you are doing a ballet lesson, please have a chair/or counter nearby, we will start class with barre work.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hey everyone!! My name is Mrs. Danielle :)
Teaching Certifications and Specialities:
I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in K-6 Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. After graduation, I taught preschool and kindergarten for 5 years. I have a huge love for children and all kinds of learning!
I am also a trained dancer of over 25 years where I have studied multiple genres of dance. I have been teaching dance at a local studio for over 10 years to children ages 2-18 and LOVE all ages! I am highly qualified to teach ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, tumbling, as well as cheerleading. I am a trained All American Cheerleader and cheer choreographer.
I currently coach, choreograph, and mentor young students with aspirations of trying out/auditioning for dance/cheer programs at the high school and collegiate level. I have also choreographed for the talent portion of local and state pageants. I also currently coach tumbling, choreograph, and judge numerous tryouts for dance and cheerleading programs locally.
Teaching Style:
I believe ALL learning should be fun! I am very energetic, motivating, and absolutely love to teach! I believe all students can do absolutely anything if they set their mind to it. I will ensure all students are comfortable and are understanding all material with constant student check ins. I enjoy working students to their highest potential and letting them know anything is possible! I love building confidence in students no matter what they are learning and I always try to make all students feel special!
Hobbies:
Of course dancing :) I also love traveling, cooking, boating, and spending time with family and friends. I also love ALL things Disney!
