Students will improve their skills in dance or cheerleading and get personalized attention from an experienced dance and cheerleading teacher.
I have danced most of my life. I was on the varsity cheer team all through high school and then went on to cheer at the University I attended for college. I have taught dance for the last 5 years to kids of all ages and styles of dance. These include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, acro/tumbling, tap, and pom/cheerleading. I also coached a high school cheerleading team. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, so I have worked with kids in the classroom and in dance classes. I absolutely love teaching and seeing my students improve.
This class involves physical exercise. Precautions should always be taken when performing any kind of exercise. Please make sure your child has room to dance and jump. Also, wear comfortable clothing and make sure a water bottle is close by.
