Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Please bring any appropriate materials for the style you wish to work in, shoes, apparel, etc. If you are unsure of what to wear or bring, dress comfortably for exercise or sport. Avoid excessively loose or tightly restrictive clothing. Form-fitting, stretch materials work best for most styles (leggings, tank tops, t-shirts, etc.) Please have water available.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This is a physical activity class. As with any physical activity, there is a risk for injury. While the instructor will offer advice and verbal instruction to prevent overexertion and injury, you take this class at your own risk. Instructor is not responsible for accidental injury. If your student has an existing injury or physical condition, please use caution when making decisions regarding this course and be sure to communicate these conditions to the instructor prior to class. Please be sure to clear sufficient open space so that your student has space to stretch and move. Be sure to clear all loose items from the floor. If you elect to attend class from your backyard or another outdoor space, be sure to wear protective footwear. Please provide water for your student. Dehydration puts students at increased risk for accidental injury. Because this is a private lesson, I highly recommend making use of the video feature on Zoom. While this is not required by Outschool, the nature of this course means that your student will benefit most if they keep their video on for the majority of the class period. Without the video, the instructor will not be able to offer corrections on form or more specific advice, which is the goal of the private lesson. Please contact your instructor ahead of time, if you wish to take class without video enabled.
