Homework
1-2 hours per week. It is encouraged that students take what they learn in class and work on the material outside of class. Every aspect of dance takes time, whether it's flexibility, strength training, picking up choreography, or just gaining the confidence the student needs to take their dancing to the next level!
Assessment
Feedback will be provided throughout the entirety of the class as well as via an informal written assessment through Outschool messages after each session.

Class Experience

Private sessions are tailored to the individual student! Whether your learner wants one-on-one instruction to get the individualized attention he/she needs to reach their goals, or whether they need help prepping for an upcoming audition, this class can be tailored to suit their needs. Learners will be guided through a comprehensive warmup involving light cardio, stretching, and technique work to ensure they are ready to dance safely and freely.

Depending on each dancer's needs, they will then be led through either technical instruction or choreography. Students will receive feedback throughout the entirety of the class and are welcome to interact throughout so that they communicate their questions and needs clearly. I am here to help them whether they want to land that pirouette, memorize choreography better, or increase their performance confidence.

This class can be booked over and over again as the student progresses. I want to help your student along their dance journey!
Learning Goals
- Improve student's dance technique
- Improve student's ability to memorize choreography quickly
- Increase confidence and ease of movement
- Develop performance skills (i.e. "acting the dance")
- Prepare for any upcoming auditions (college musical theatre programs, theatre auditions, etc)
