US Grade Preschool - 12
During this one-time class, student will learn how to form and to connect the 26 lower case letters of the alphabet. I keep a record of the student's progress therefore, if a student is unable to complete the whole alphabet in one class, we can easily complete it in the following class. Simply register again to this class and we will pick up where we left! Using demonstrations and comparisons, student will write the letters with precisions. I will be using the built-in white board on the Zoom app, along with short videos and demonstrations on my white board depending of the student's needs. I use humor, visual aids and props so that the student can easily see the letters' shapes or way to connect within each other. I believe this serious topic can be fun! This is a one time class. Students and parents can request the following classes after, simply send me an email and I will adapt to the student's need. Same for scheduling other times, write to me and I can accomodate your needs! Class A: writing patterns , round letters and complex letters (very beginner) -good for younger students Class B: whole alphabet, joining strokes, double letters Class C: practice pairs, common pairs, pairs of pairs, capital letters Class D: capital letters (Days and months) & Writing sentences Class E: Writing sentences and "stylish" writing I keep a record of the student's progress therefore, if a student is unable to complete the whole alphabet in one class, we can easily complete it in the following class. Hello! My name is Amelie Vallieres and I am glad you stopped by my profil! It would be a joy to have class with you. I love to teach, it is my passion! I have been teaching since 2014 after graduated with a bachelor in Education in the State of Florida. In addition, I have conducted classes in schools and online on various platforms. I truly enjoy teaching online and build connections with children around the world. I, myself, was born in Canada, moved to United States for 12 years, then move again back home, in the French speaking province of Québec. My teaching philosophy is simple, if the lessons are engaging, then students will remember the content longer. I am so excited to offer my expertise on Outschool!
Beside teaching, I love to learn languages and to travel. I was born in Québec, Canada, therefore I spoke French and English as a child. I have also lived abroad for multiple months in France, Peru, Germany and Switzerland. I am now living in Valleyfield, Québec, Canada.
