Are you stuck on a crocheting project? Do you want to make your own unique amigurumi (crocheted plush toy)? In this one on one ongoing workshop, we will work on a unique project of your choice, from planning to crocheting!
Class experience
For each 45 minute lesson, we will work on a project that the learner is interested in. Are they confused on a specific spot on a crochet project they are already working on? Would they like to work on making their own, unique amigurumi (crocheted stuffed toy), but don't know where to start? These lessons are for you! If the learner is interested in creating something completely new, then we will first work on making the pattern for their new crocheted projects before we jump right into...
The learning goals will vary depending on the project the learner would like to work on. Possible goals include: - Designing a crochet pattern - Practice with crochet stitches - Practice with problem solving
I have been crocheting for 6 years now! During this time, I have made countless crocheted items, such as hats, scarves and amigurumi. In fact, my expertise is in making amigurumi (crocheted stuffed toys)!
The learner will need to have the following items for each private lesson: - Acrylic yarn - Crochet hook (which size depends on what kind of project they'd like to work on. For clothing projects, a larger hook is recommended. For amigurumi projects, a smaller hook is recommended) - Needle, for sewing - Scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
