Description
Class Experience
The student will review and practice short vowel words (consonant-vowel-consonant). Blends (st, bl, br, tr.... ) will be reviewed and practiced on the whiteboard and in oral reading. Once short vowel words are mastered, the student will review and practice digraphs (sh, th, ch). At this point, the student will learn or review long vowel sounds (vowel teams and silent-e). Short vowel sounds, blends, and digraphs will continue to be presented and incorporated in mastered reading skills. ...
