If this is the first private lesson, we will start by assessing the student's level. Then, we will begin with various themes to see what they are able to discuss. If they are a complete beginner, we will not do an assessment. No matter the lesson, we will customize based on the student's needs, whether that be homework help, fluency progress and practice, writing practice if already a native speaker that needs to improve writing, or a student that wants to improve pronunciation.
