This is an ongoing class for one-on-one (one to one) lessons on the clarinet. All levels are welcome! All clarinets are also welcome: Eb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, even Alto Clarinet! I have experience teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced levels on the clarinet. We can discuss all things clarinet and learn to play the instrument to the best of your ability. I have a vast knowledge of all things clarinet. I have learned from some of the best performers and educators in music. I enjoy passing this knowledge on to those who I teach and I try to make it fun! Each lesson will be personalized to the needs and goals of the learner. Music will be assigned as necessary and method books will be assigned based on the level of the learner. Learners are encouraged to bring in music that they enjoy and any music that is assigned in any ensembles they participate in or music for competitions/auditions. Students are asked to come to the lesson prepared with their instrument and assigned music ready to go. Some topics I will cover in each lesson can be as follows: Scales - Major, Minor and all other types of modes as requested by learner Warm-up techniques and proper posture - very important to play efficiently Music Theory - the how and why of what we play in our music Music History - this can pertain to the type of music being played and also information about the composer of the piece of music being looked at Feel free to reach out if you don't see any times listed that will work for you! I do have other times available!
