US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner - Advanced Level
This is an ongoing class for one-on-one (one to one) lessons on the clarinet. All levels are welcome! All clarinets are also welcome: Eb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, even Alto Clarinet! I have experience teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced levels on the clarinet. We can discuss all things clarinet and learn to play the instrument to the best of your ability. Each lesson will be catered to the ability level of the learner. Students should see improvement in their playing and in their confidence as a musician with each lesson.
Homework Offered
Students are asked to maintain a weekly practice schedule outside of class time. Music assignments will be given based on each students ability and goals.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Assessments and reports are not given unless requested by the parent.Grades Offered
Method Book (such as Essential Elements or Rubank Method) or Etude/Solo book (as assigned) Instrument in working condition Instrument accessories (reeds, mouthpiece, ligature, swab) Music as assigned I will provide a suggested supply list to each student.
Various music method books can be used for these lessons. Books such as Essential Elements and the blue Rubank Method books are highly recommended for the class. Other books and music will be assigned based on the learners ability.
